Internal trade / Intrastat reporting
German national law requires the statistical reporting of international trade. We are happy to be of assistance in this process.
The international trade statistics serve the purpose of recording the movement of goods involved in import, export and transit, crossing the borders of the Federal Republic of Germany. Trade with other EU states (internal trade) and trade with third countries (external trade) are both recorded.
The German Federal Statistics Law, the German Foreign Trade Statistics Law, the directive on the implementation of foreign trade statistics, as well as the Council Regulation (EC) No. 1172/95 in conjunction with VO (EG) Nr. 1917/00 form the legal foundation for the implementation of international trade statistics.
That sounds complicated ?. and indeed it is.
However we are happy to give you explanations as to which cases, i.e. which types, values and quantities of goods are required to be recorded statistically. If you so wish, we can spare you the need to handle this "evil", at a favourable cost. We are here for you!
